Welcome to my blog! If you didn't arrive here via Momo's site, be sure to go over and check it out. She has lots of blogs linked to her site that, like mine, could use some new followers. I promise that I do occasionally update it with completed craft projects. Sadly, there haven't been too many of those lately. Here's a project that I did back in September and never got around to posting. It is my daughter's science binder. I used a regular three ring binder that allows you to slip in a pieces of paper on the front and back covers as well as the spine. My daughter chose the images she wanted and I put the covers together. I used Create-A-Critter for the monkey, clouds, and volcano. I used Locker Talk for the test tubes and I used the Sesame Street font for the letters. I am working on a scrapbook page that I hope to have posted by the weekend! Please become a follower and come back to check it out!

Seriously, there is a cologne that smells like Play Doh. You can pick up some for yourself at Amazon.com. I feel so trendy, as I often smell like this stuff already (usually because I sat in some or stepped in some and it is stuck to my butt or shoe!) I knew there were some hidden benefits to teaching preschool. Clearly, smelling like Play Doh is one of these. I actually prefer the smell of crayons, though. Are you listening, Demeter?

How fun! I am a winner (not the Charlie Sheen kind!)
Rachel, over at Live, Laugh, Craft has given me the Stylish Blogger Award! I am so excited and honored that she chose me. Be sure to check out her cute blog!
I need to share 8 things about myself and pass the award on to 8 others.
Here are 8 things about me:
1. I teach a class of 14 adorable Pre-K students.
2. I have a daughter who is in sixth grade.
3. I am addicted to Cadbury Mini Eggs (it's a very good thing that these are not available all year!)
4. My husband and I got married on a Wednesday.
5. I love to bake. Rolo cookies are my current favorite recipe.
6. I have been to Disney World many, many times.
7. I never learned to swim or ride a bike.
8. I was Valedictorian of my high school class.
Now I'm off to find 8 blogs to pass the award on to! Hopefully, I will have a project or two done by the end of the weekend and I'll post them, too.

Here's a card I made for Robyn's feathered friend challenge over at MyPinkStamper. I used the Simply Charmed cartridge to make the chick at 3.75 inches. I chalked his edges because I have discovered that I am really bad at inking. Everything I edge with ink looks dirty. I need to work on that. I'm not sure I am crazy about the patterned paper I used here. Like most of my patterned paper, it is super old. I think it is from a Cuttin' Up kit. I made seven of these chicks, so I think I will experiment with different papers tomorrow until I find one that I like better.
